That means the level of global awareness and education in India is comparable to China's during Mao's era where farmers wielding pitchforks were rearing to go saying they could defeat the American empire and people melting down pots and silverware declared they were on the brink of overtaking the west in iron/steel production.

The key to subverting democracy is, at is core, very simply - you need the masses to be stupid and easily fooled/directed.

That is why certain interest groups have invested significantly in trying to discredit science and promote religion in the west in recent decades, which startling success in the US especially.

India is reaching the same destination via different means as rather than trying to get an existing, well educated advanced society to regress, all Indian leaders need to do is make sure the masses never get educated in the first place.

That, I think, is a key reason why no Indian government has made reducing its shamefully high illiteracy rates much of an actual priority.

The following events were never reported to the best of my knowledge.

This complacency continued through May 12, when two PLA helicopters chased an Indian chopper carrying a commanding general across the Pangong Tso lake.

Besides voicing strong objections, Chinese troops had crossed the LAC at Pangong on September 11, 2019 and beaten up 10 Indian soldiers and damaged three Indian patrol boats.

Modi seem insistent on avoiding escalation more than anyone else in India, at least he seem to understand the general disparity between Indian and Chinese forces.
Tho I certainly wouldn’t mind if India were to attack right now.

The internal contradictions in the Indian narrative are always amusing.

This is the sequence of their claims:

A) China didn't capture any Indian-claimed territory
B) China retreated and went back
C) Now, we want to go to war with China

.... ?!

A contradicts B, and they both contradict C, lolz

Couple this Indian war craze with the high public trust in the Indian govt (circa 70% even with their massive Covid-19 screw-up). This is quite a potent mix. Very few industrialized countries in this world have such a crazy combination. I hate to say this, but I think the only thing preventing India from going to war with China right now is Modi and the top leadership.

Like it or not India is 1000% drifting into America's orbit. If things stay on course, India will have war with China at some point. Its no longer a question of 'what if?', but 'when?'. India is a fascist state on a warpath. But India looks more like Mussolini's Italy than Hitler's Germany. So this war is going to teach them some very painful lessons.

I found this analysis (starting 3:55) from an ex PLA military officer of the Nanjing military district (pre-reform) and there are actually a lot of solid analysis from a pure military standpoint. Way better than the usual chest thumping rants from both Indian and Chinese amateurs.
I’ve heard alot about of this period between September and November where the snow will seal off the mountains and how it is the most likely time for India to make a move.

Can someone explain why this would be the case, the video mention this but doesn’t really explain why.

In the next India-China war. Militarily, I am sure that China can deal with India. But I don't know what are China's prospects on the diplomatic front. I would predict a lot of cheer leading for India from the West, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam. India would be portrayed as 'Rocky' going up against 'Ivan Drago' China. Sanctions, boycotts, and more anti-China hate are almost guaranteed for China. India could get a boost of unjustified international prestige, further inflating their already bloated ego.

The problem is Russia. Could Russia join in on cheer leading India to boost the glory of Russian weaponry? India is after all Russia's no.1 defence client. While China is Russia's most important economic and geo-strategic partner, could China pressure Russia to halt military supplies to India? Looking at how Russia's MIC is so sacred to the nation, and its precarious economy, its hard to predict Russia's decision here.
