JH7B, no obvious differences from outside as expected. Advances in avionics & aerial refueling etc, main one being the ability to launch their new AShM.

For some strange reason I thought the so call Bravo version was going to be radically different almost 5th Gen like with stealth shaping etc.

The stealthy one from XAC lost out to the others few years back, may have reincarnated in some form as the mysterious thing in the photo few weeks back as a joint venture with SAC.
This JH7B is for more immediate needs.

Recalled the time when there was excited speculation after a pic showed what could be a semi stealth version of JH-7a. But there were some who suggested going that route would be a waste of resources. Might as well Invest it in a completely new stealth design. I'm glad they went that way

Isn't XAC suppose to be behind one of these rumored stealth strike bombers projects? That could explain why they don't need to work on a stealthy JH-7B.
