Beidou has already covered half of the world since 2012 and almost all Asia, and in just a few years from now, it will definitely cover the whole world.

I can see that China may in the future give some other countries access to Beidou military restricted mode. I believe Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and some ME & Africa & South American countries may be granted.

Would be extremely interesting if NK actively use Beidou for its missile and LGB ...

What does green skin signifies ? That particualr area is using composites ?

If it is composire indicator, then for the first time, I/m seeing these green skins underneath. On All right left and middle of the undercarriage

It's a good guess but not a guarantee.

Hi,

JF17 has not been to Bahrain before---and just because Tejaf was there---there was no reason for Paf to be there.

The indians had the chance to analyze the JF17 on 5 different locations multiple times---. Paf by choice use this opportunity to analyze the Tejas first time.

It was a good decision not to go for the first time---. Why go in with a handicap.

If JF-17 is as good as the manufacturer claims, then it should embrace opportunities to compete with the Tejas, or any other rivals. And if for some reason it doesn't measure up, then losing in the marketplace compels the JF-17 team to learn, improve and field a better product.

Maybe it is about budgeting and logistics. One can only choose to go so many air shows a year. Competing in an airshow by showing specs and a few demo flights? It is an interesting idea.

Could you please explain more with < Go--in--with--handicap > ??

Hi,

Handicap-----! JF17 is a known product----already deployed---has been to multiple air shows---so---its abilities are well assessed by the indians.

Tejas---otoh has its first coming out at a show outside the country---so it is better for the paf to asses its abilities and adjust their planning and fly by in the coming air shows---.

Plus----paf has not displayed the JF17 at Bahrain before----it is supposedly a commercial airliner show---and as Dubai is the primary defense equipment air show in the region---so better to stick with that.

Comparatively---paf also has budget issues---air shows cost upwards of a million dollars---they have supposedly bagged a couple of orders---so there is no urgency in coming to all the shows---.

Also---with the 229 going thru testing with the refueler probe---the next display is anticipated with that package---plus any other upgrades the BLK 2 might be getting.

Hi,

When you are the first on the scene and have already shown your wares multiple times---the newbies would be desperately nipping at your heels to show comparative competence---because now you are the standard to beat.

We don't need to " embrace any opportunity " because we already have gained the momentum---we have already secured two orders---which is just a bonus---the JF17 is primarily for paf.

The " measuring up " is left to the newcomer---they have to prove their competence---they have to measure up----we have already flown over 10 times in the air shows so far and over 60 aircraft in actual deployment---.

Our aircraft are flown by the regular general duty pilots---the aircraft pulled off from general deployed fleet---the Tejas is still being flown by " TEST PILOTS "---the aircraft yet to be deployed---it has not even begun its integration into the air force---so the term " measuring up " is vague and without substance.
