Nigeria is more serious opportunity, as they already use Chinese aircraft and have trouble with Boko Haram Islamists rebels . Of course, they would benefit most from JF-17 version with fully integrated air-to-ground weapons , i.e. Block 2 . And we still don't have confirmation what is happening to Block 2 .

YES, IMO only an attempt to rise the political pressure to gain a better option ...

By the way it seems as if Nigeria could be first customer for Block II JF-17.

It's taken from end of November when Sri Lankan Air Marshall was visiting PAC that is indeed Block II first unit
