Does anybody know what's the arrangement between China and Pakistan for exporting the JF-17? They market the aircraft together but do both China and Pakistan have to agree on any deal or can one of them sell the plane unilaterally?

Also, does a potential buyer purchase the engine directly from Russia or through China?

Edit: Also, for any order, who actually makes the airframe? China? Pakistan? Both?

Yes.

China

Both countries CAN manufacture. However at this time, PAC is the only establishment doing the parts manufacturing as per its % share plus the assembly, testing, validation and integration into the squadrons. PAC is owned by PAF so all of the process described above is streamlined as per PAF's requirements of phasing out airframes and subsequent replacement with Thunders.

Pakistan is going to build a new manufacturing and test facility over 600 acres of land in Sindh province.

What music was playing in the video? I love the music especially the humming sound. And the female pilot is
beautiful in the begining. :eek::confused:

Some people have been asking what the above photo so here’s a clarification

PAF is experimenting with indigenous advanced Multiple Ejector Racks (MER) which are similar to the BRU-41 MER used on the F16s, F15 and F18s

The MERs allow the aircraft to carry multiple payloads on a single “Hardpoint”

In this picture the JF-17 is carrying a 2 x bombs on a single hard point using the MER

I believe these MER can carry 4 bombs in total one on each wing gives 8 x bombs by using only just 2 hard points freeing up the other hard points to carry jammers, targeting pods and other missiles

I also know that the wings of the JF-17 have been structurally strengthen to allow for more heavy lifting don’t know if its use of composites though

All in all great news for the JF-17 and great news for PAF
