By "mass production" do we have a rough guess of how many J-35As SAC would be able to crank out this year? 20? 30?

it is not directly related with J-35 but it has indirect relation with this information..

Sun Cong, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, also the chief designer of China’s J-15 carrier-borne fighter jet, said at a recent forum that he dreams of making aircraft like mobile phones.

China is basically defining the development process/cycle of Fighter jet. or aspiring to do this near future. this is Hugeeeeeee

Well, serial production would've been a better word. My mistake.

We'll find out how many soon enough.

What does "114514架!" (= "114514 fight!" ) mean in the comment section?
It's a Chinese internet meme/slang with Japanese origins. Roughly means "alright, bring it on!" so not an actual number.

Ayi/Orca said the total number of PLA 5th gens produced "next year" would still be around the annual F35 production or slightly less

So total J20 + total J35 produced <= 156, next year

J-35/A has said to have entered serial/mass production.
