This model seems to show side launch bays that do not exists in the J-35s we've seen so far though.

Well, I think it shown the well-known avionics bay - indeed a bit larger to make them look like weapons bays - but overall we have seen much worse models. But yes, that's clearly not correct.

J-35 Reminds the USN of the idiots who screwed up their project.

USN themselves were the ones who did the absolute most to compromise f-35 performance, though.
