Lets just wait for further news. Right now it's still inconclusive, but exciting never the less for any thing new on J-20.

We should talk with logic rather than being touchy and I'm not even questioning China's ability to develop AESA, but one that's 4-5 times the power of F-22's.

I would agree with the skeptics, I continue to feel in this instance, my Daddy's old saying, don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see, is always good advice. Since we are seeing way more than we're used to, the natural assumption for some of us in view of the past secrecy is wow, I wonder what their not showing. A more rational view might be, what they've achieved is very slick, almost to slick, but they are spending a lot of money, and there's no shortage of gray matter or technology, indigenous and borrowed. I think they're showing their two aces right now, and hoping to bluff later, because the cold war style arms race has heated up again, and instead of making nicey, nice with each other, we're really seeing everybodys poker face right now. We all need to relax and be vigilant, as well a respectfull, thats whats expected out of world class powers, and while we're at it, we oughta pray that everybody realizes that big boys with loaded guns often wear them out in public, doesn't mean you're aggressive, just following the boy scout motto of "be prepared".

Just heart that CCTC confirmed that J-20 has WS-10B engine and with 100 KW peak power AESA .

Is that 100KW credible? What's that of Rafale? 10KW? Russian first AESA Zhuk is said to be 20KW.

100kW?! What the

Even the Irbis-E (N035) has 20 kiloWatt peak power. 100KW you'll need an AWACS

It depends on what it means by peak power. Technically, peak power does not necessarily mean constant max power output that's continuous for some time period. Usually the everyday news sources aren't the most accurate when it comes to reporting this sort of details unless they did a good job of just quoting correctly the details that was revealed. But then what and how reliable is the original source?
