The question that seems to be avoided is is the F-22 that stealthy. Yeah on paper. There are probably many reasons why it wasn't exported beyond the "official" explanations. I think it says a lot that soon after the J-20 was unveiled there were already claims that the US already knew how to defeat it and all of the sudden stealth wasn't as omnipotent as the hype anymore. Why? Most likely the US did and obviously would test the F-22's vulnerabilities and displaced what they discovered onto the J-20. If it were flying around a lot and had been exported where they would be flying near potential enemies, they could learn to exploit those vulnerabilities that the US knew of already. Just like the allies during the first Gulf War said they saw the F-117 on their radars, just imagine if it was exposed that the F-22 wasn't as stealthy as advertised.
