maybe no fancy alien style HMD then, yes it's pretty old, also shows some bits of the cockpit, i suspect he/she still keeps the unblurred pic

sounds like no big deal, but we can't even figure out the tech/eng face

Yes guys, I'm having J-20 withdrawal symptoms and I'm definetly missing the Chengdu daily air show, I'm also having a few bogeys show up on the old dell, anybody else? I don't know if its the videos or what but I had/have a bug, and no I'm not talking about a Hornet.

I'm afraid we would have to wait for a couple more weeks. A lot of people in China are probably home due to Chinese new year celebrations.

Just heart that CCTC confirmed that J-20 has WS-10B engine and with 100 KW peak power AESA .

Is that 100KW credible? What's that of Rafale? 10KW? Russian first AESA Zhuk is said to be 20KW.

oops, typo. CCTV - see the latest at pakistandefence J-20 thread

I don't believe it. I don't think it's possible for China to make such a stupendous leap over the best technology the rest of the world can offer. It's not like photovoltaic cells where it's possible to find new discoveries and alternatives.

Yeaahhh you don't believe it, me too. But who would believe 15 months ago that China would fly J-20 (Jan 2011), were you one of them ?

So many other Chinese achievements. i.e supercomputer and also supercomputer with indigenous Chinese CPU .. so my message is don't underestimate Chinese, she would surprise us again and again

Take it easy, let's not get personal. The F-22 APG-77's AESA is about 20kw. For J-20's AESA to hit 100kw is stretching the imagination too much. But I'm no radar expert, less than a noobie, so just saying, based on what I gather to be China's current technological standard. But if they say 20-25, I can accept.

If 100kw is a fact, you bet I can swagger.
