Are you digging up a 2009 photo as evident? Now is 2011, China can progress rapidly in 2years time.

Yeah and and I've seen other pics of aircraft that don't look to have engines with a tarp covering. Then why do we see the WS10(?) on J-11Bs and J-10Bs if they weren't reliable enough?

What does it say about EODAS ?
Just talking about the location of the sensors. Apparently there are 5. Two on each side of the nose, one on top(?), one behind the cockpit canopy, and one on the abdomen. Also says it's not that different from the F-35, though they're distributed a little differently.

I've been re-watching what few videos we have of the J-20 rolling and turning and comparing them to the F-22 and YF-23. It's very hard to get anything from those really bad J-20 videos, but why do I get the feeling that the J-20 bleeds a lot of speed during turns...To be fair even the F-22 is no YF-23. Whenever I see the YF-23 execute a turn it looks effortless, without losing any speed. Meanwhile the F-22 seems to bleed speed as it turns. Given that they probably use the same engines this is probably due to the YF-23's lower wingloading than the F-22.

I'm wondering this is due to the speed envelope we see the J-20 operating under, inadequate engine power, or because of a high wingloading...
