Err I think most people on this forum aren't so disbelieving of the rumors and mutterings which we take to be close to truth. Only a few naysayers and sceptics remain, but that's alright. the vast majority believed the J-20/J-XX existed years before the first flight.

Yup.

Funny, when it comes to what "good words" called sceptics, it always is a "small portion of people" only.

Anyway, like the first (public) appearance of J-20, there were "rumors" being given says some major occurance might happen at *** place of *** time... crowd gathered, then something happens.

This time, is the same. Rumors flys regarding J-20 "come again", and crowd gathered, then J-20 being taken some very astonishing shots, and people as far as SDF get to see them.

My point (which haven't being metioned a lot in this fourm, yet), is that, those "crowd", is not (not only is ) the local people seeing interesting occurance and gathering - in fact, anytime there is a crowd, people who "get the words", are gathering.

Anyone with INTELLIGENCE background lurk around this fourm, try to think about the implication of THAT.

Re: J-20 SECOND FLIGHT VIDEO & Photos!

Look closely you can see the two doors of the belly weapon bay. On the left ventral door, you can almost see the reflection of the guy who sits down. And the right ventral door is even more visible; it is below both doors of the right landing gear.

So a total of 8 doors are opened.

There's another opened panel on the port side, below the cockpit and just beside three standing guys. The other opened panel is on the aft port side just before the wheel-bay door. Wonder both of them are for weapon bays or just one of them, with the other being for equipment bay.

There is some spot/patch like thing on the tail, are they some sort of electronic device/body antenna?

Why are they still flying with the landing gears down?
What's the real reason for this?
Are they so afraid that the engine might malfunction at any moment that they implemented this ridicules protocol so the aircraft can land quickly?

Why does it require more than a DOZEN MEN to fix the landing gear?
Are they having a landing gear design problem?!
Is that why they always fly J-20 with landing gear down?? :D

I am joking I am joking! But seriously, what's the real reason to fly with landing gears down?
And what takes more than a dozen men to fix ?? I thought it looks like 3-4 men is enough (it looks way too crowded to even work efficiently with so many people around).

When something does happen, you want one less thing to deal with. The same protocol applies everywhere else, not just in China.

This is how early test flights are conducted. Those who claim otherwise don't know what they are talking about.

Really? I thought T-50 and YF-22 and YF-23 never flown with their landing gears down like that.

Landing gears are only retracted when everything else has been verified as functional. When the first retraction is done, it is done high up in the air, so it's out of sight of ground spectators.

It actually looks like the people were trying to maintain the weapons bay.
