It was really difficult to spot weapon bays from earlier J20 photos. Weapon bays' lines are clearly visible on J-22s and F-35s, but such lines are hardly visible on J20.

Logic would lead to the idea that the paint scheme of the J-20 makes it difficult to spot the weapon bays (along with other lines and panel lines). Much more likely than not not having weapon bays at all... I mean even if at present we didn't get any pictures as evidence that the J-20 has weapon bays it would still be more logical to believe it does.

Re: J-20 SECOND FLIGHT VIDEO & Photos!

Those who claimed that the J-20 is a tech-demonstrator and has no weapon bays are proven wrong, yet again.

I think this picture shows the ventral bay also opened... See how there are two guys who seem to be standing underneath the belly of the J-20, while previous pictures show maintenace crew having to crouch to inspect the underside?
The fact those two people could stand perfectly upright, and the fact we can't see their heads says to me they are inspecting or looking inside the opened ventral bay. (That is, if they are standing under the aircraft and not in front of it... I personally think it looks more like the former)

It's possible that J20 doesn't have a weapon bay, but it would pretty illogical for a plane of that size and stealthy body to not have a weapon bay.

This video is really interesting. The guy that's talking in the video spoke with distinctive northern accent. This is rare as people in Chengdu have a very special local accent, cannot be mistaken at all. Not sure if he was a tourist that made a trip to Chengdu just for the plane, or if he was a student, since he mentioned he was next to the library, it is possible that he is in an university.

Possible only in the physical sense that it might not hold one, but completely impossible given what the J-20 is meant to be... It's even unlikely the prototypes don't all have weapon bays already (if we hadn't seen these recent photos). This point's kind of irrelevant anyhow.

Re: J-20 SECOND FLIGHT VIDEO & Photos!

Look closely you can see the two doors of the belly weapon bay. On the left ventral door, you can almost see the reflection of the guy who sits down. And the right ventral door is even more visible; it is below both doors of the right landing gear.

So a total of 8 doors are opened.

The fact those two people could stand perfectly upright, and the fact we can't see their heads says to me they are inspecting or looking inside the opened ventral bay.

Bltizo, just with you, a friendly discussion:

Linking other topics in this fourm, do you (or, don't you) have already sense that, people around here, are all HIGH RANKING OFFICERS FROM CMC THEMSELVES!!!

Why? Because they believe:"As long as a people as important like me - didn't see anything. That thing did not exist! For sure!"

I mean, sure, the AshBM program did not DELIVER a test report to them, it thus do not exist;

Just FREAKING 5 MONTH AGO, nobody DELIVER a signed report to them, the freaking J-20 is only a joke made up by fanboys at amateurs non-creditable Chinese fourms;

Sure, type 99 MBT can not conduct mission at desert, because I DIDN'T SEE IT! The only thing I heard is they use russian engine, russian gun, russian... what the hell - RUSSIAN TANK WITH A PLA STAR PAINT, ONLY!

...

Laughable, right? I (Red___Sword) laugh every time when saw these posts, and I laugh THE MOST at this J-20 thread.

Just a friendly sharing.

Err I think most people on this forum aren't so disbelieving of the rumors and mutterings which we take to be close to truth. Only a few naysayers and sceptics remain, but that's alright. the vast majority believed the J-20/J-XX existed years before the first flight.

Superb photos, thanks for posting them! So it's been about three and a half months between test flights, I wonder what they were doing, and how long it will take for the next test flight. Did both 2001 and 2002 fly this week? Does anyone notice any structural changes?

big ones are 3648x2736 px :D

From Huitong:
"Besides a large belly weapon bay for short/long-range AAMs (up to 6 PL-10, PL-12C/D & PL-21), two samller lateral weapon bays have been identified behind the air inlets for short-range AAMs (up to 2 PL-10)."

Please, someone, post them! In full resolution
