It's really a drastic change when jumping back and forth between Chinese and Western forums. Chinese forums are generally really messed up and chaotic, filled with insults and curses from two sides, one anti-communist and one pro-communist. Those sites were supposed to be weapon oriented discussions but all end up as an alternative location for another cultural revolution battle ground. Otherwise, if those sites didn't turn out to be verbal battlegrounds, they still eventually turn out to be a paradise filled with fantasies lands as wild as a young man's wet dreams.
We should provide solid evidence to our posts, instead of providing pure PS'd arts and claim they are real. Two days ago I was hot headed and wasted 3 hours of my time arguing with an idiot, because he took a photo-shopped picture and claimed it was a H-9. But the picture was really just a PS'd version of the plane from the movie STEALTH.
Not just Chinese forums. Western forums are equally as bad, esp when it comes to discussing something about China....except there are no pro-Chinese debates over there. Even if there are, they're either trolls, or they get banned quickly. I went to socnet before, and they kicked me out when they can't out-argue me, even though I was making reasonable claims and overturning all their narrow-mindedness. Same as MP.net,except I'm not banned there yet, and I gave up participating in there for most part because their mindsets are no different from holocaust denialists.
Most old-time members here would probably know that aside from me making stupid jokes here and there(because I don't have much to contribute usually other than to humbly read and learn), I'm a moderate by nature (because I never really like to take any sides as I believe in objectiveness and seeing both sides of the story). I do, of course, am more on the support China side, although not actually the zealous ones.
Anyways back to topic....I just wanna say that don't think Western forums are any better.
