If i understood correctly, they are saying j35/f35 needed to add the hump given that their frontal drag is already excessive with elevated cockpit? And that hump was to minimize the damaged done?

And that the hump is meant to smooth out the gap/kink left over by the rear cockpit section, which align with area rule for transonic drag improvisation??
Yes I think that’s what they’re suggesting. And again, I don’t think we should take what they say as anything more than guesswork.

Well typically they always do something on Mao's birthday. Could be anything in any of the service branches though.

Who would have expected a J-20B to be in the works so soon. Even though such classifications are mainly for marketing purposes and the J-20 will never be exported, it could still be considered the world's first 5.5 gen fighter.

I'm especially interested if the J-20 upgrade will have enhanced drone network capabilities as well as proof of FH-97 in use.

Really? What makes you think that way…?

PS: at first sight it looks impressive but after a second sight and even more some careful comparisons it looks indeed as if again a bored joker wanted to fool us.

I agree now, there are too many differences in important details, which make me think it is unfortunately faked.

I feel like losing the EODAS is a great mistake. Situational awareness will suffer because of it
