How accurate are either of them do you know? Are they just getting information through a grapevine of hearsay or are they vetting information thoroughly? I’m asking because I’ve seen both make claims before that seem a bit questionable like two years ago when one of them (I think shilao) said the WS-15 was already flying on a test bed.
The accuracy really depends on the area they really know of or have connections of. By China’s military and defense industry design, there are only very few people really knows everything. These few people would not have time to use social media.
For people like Xi or Shi, who make money out of military social media, they have to keep on talking about everything to keep subscribers happy. Thus, they just can not be accurate on critical and sensitive stuff in most cases. They can only be accurate on the very few things they really know of , and they can only share such information occasionally to prove what they are worthy of.
So, they do know something, but it’s really not wise to trust everything they say. Personally, I only take no more than 20 percent of their information as valuable.

I thought F-35 and F-22 have RAM all over? It seems like the case visually and based on documentation.

Some people are claiming J-20 only has RAM at the edges.
Also note RAM isn't the only thing, sometimes, material with RAM like property is baked into the panel when it's being formed/3D printed and it's designed in a way ofcourse to have the aerodynamic properties to fill it's core purpose but to also be able to absorb or/and deflect radar waves of certain bands. This is something that's gone into F-35 and I think US will use their latest and greatest manufacturing tech for the B-21s and the new 6th gen they're prototyping.

RAM is then an additional treatment over and above that where it's needed etc and there are all sorts of RAMs.

This big brother said on Weibo that the J-20 fighters have already served in seven combat units of the Air Force, excluding the 176th and 172nd brigades.

Wuhu, Anshan, Guilin, Korla, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Huzhou.

hmmm ??!

Wuhu = 9th AB confirmed,
Anshan = 1st AB confirmed,
Guilin = 5th AB confirmed,
Korla = 111th AB unconfirmed,
Zhengzhou = 56th AB more or less confirmed,
Chongqing = 98th (or IMO unlikely 97th) AB unconfirmed,
Huzhou = makes no sense, at least I have no such base in my list and also not Scramble?

So how reliable is this list? and is it not more likely a list mentioning any base, where J-20s have been spotted but not necessarily a new unit?

They have a lot of sources inside the military, and a lot of things can only be talked between friends even only offline. In the show only so much can be said, even delibrately misleading. Actually I knew something that I know should not be posted anywhere.
do you know anything about ws15? is it finally sorted just pending for more testing?

Wuhu, Anshan, Guilin, Korla, Zhengzhou, Chongqing, Huzhou.

That would be substantial if verifiable.

I could see multiple units starting to receive small numbers of J-20s at once to start their transitions and familiarzations.

As a guy who know Xi Yazhou and Shilao personally I could say the difference between Xi and Shilao is kind of different market positioning but not personality (and yes, personality involves too). Xi is positioned as a over the top guy and Shi is more nuanced.

Could you please share the links to both of their sites at Weibo?

Yeah I’m aware of their accuracy should be limited by the quality of their sources. What I guess I’m trying to ascertain is how thoroughly they vet what they hear vs taking things at their word.

I don't think that's something we can really reasonably expect, even if we could somehow communicate with them directly.
They're hardly going to reflect on their own credibility and modus operandi.
