The Pak Interior Minister hinted J20 as very long term possibility. Also at this point in time, PAF doesn't need or feel pressured for a fifth gen fighter nor can afford it any time soon.

J10CP were not deemed necessary until Rafael were inducted by IAF. So when PAF has need for 5th Gen. there will be only Chinese 5th Gen option mature enough for PAF needs.

Secondly, i doubt that J20 will be preferred, IMO J31 will be more preferred.

Lastly, Turkish 5th Gen. is only a paper dream right now, so not very optimistic about it. Even if Turkey does make one in 15-20 years, who know the deal wont be sabotaged like T-129 Attack helicopters.

Regardless of Chinese policy, it has always been Pakistan's policy as well. Pakistan has always reacted to Indian steps to keep some semblance of balance.

Let India buy Rafales at $200m a pop.
