A J-20 with a pair of previously unseen engines (WS-15) was allegedly spotted on the ground and while performing a vertical climb.
I must admit, I'm still sceptical ...
Any particular reason or just in general?

Due to my I think general scepticism and also since such reports popped up before without any credibility. And finally, this image - at least IMO - looks more like a fighter with two different engines and not the same.

They would have much better quality pictures that they are not releasing due to not wanting to be invited for tea. If it is real.
Timing wise it would work, but there have been too many fake stories to take such a useless image as confirmation of anything.
I’m ready to call this one. There’s just way too much smoke for there not to be some kind of major development with the J-20’s engines, and if that new picture is anything to go by, that engine on the right looks both bigger than the WS-10/Al-31 and seems to have a much brighter and redder afterburner.
