That is assuming that PLAN is willing to risk failing in combat to choose an aircraft that does not fit their need just to keep a company alive. That is a crime.
Still looks photoshopped. I think your point is the engine pointing down, but it seems sharper than other parts of the image, and you see some artifacts suggesting photoshop.
Of course I didn't think SAC team has trouble, was only objecting the notion that "SAC need to be saved". Some times I get really annoyed by the repeating notion of "save SAC by giving some bread, save Russia by giving some bread".
Well the US are doing it with the F-35... I don't think it's a big risk, lol !
F-35 and F-22 are both made by Lockheed Martin, there is no "choosing an under-performing design to save another team" like you proposed "CAC vs. SAC". Isn't it? The bottom line is that F-35 or FC-31 were chosen for their intended purpose, not because one team need to be saved.
The consequences of that particular industrial consolidation bite them quite a lot now, btw.
Never said it was for saving a team... it could be just keeping, preserving and improving expertise. We are getting off subject wildly...
