In fact I won't be surprised if this is indeed for the moment the true J-20S since based on the regular J-20 ... however - esp. in mind of the new radome and anyway similar changes - it will enter service as the J-20AS or indeed J-20B!

Or we are again being surprised and it will get a totally different letter.

That's surprising...I would've thought they would go with the 25mm gatling in the patent with J-35.

That also says the speed it can reach is basically Mach 2.5.

Kind of surprising I expected it to have a lower top speed because of the DSI and the stealth coatings.

Length is directly contradicted by AVIC’s own numbers.

Maximum speed of J20 = 3,062.7km/hr. While SR-71 Blackbird's maximum speed is 3,540km/hr.

I rather wait for the official data on AVIC's placard on 12th November. Max speed of 3,062.7 km/hr on an aircraft that is slightly smaller than the Flankers, and WS-10B engines seem outrageous.
