You're living in a fantasy world bro,,,, nobody's gonna build a "scale" true to life model of the J-20,,, its not economically possible?? starting with the FCS alone,,, they can make a model go faster, or slower, but even the Chinese Govt would have a cow trying to replicate the real thing,,,,

and yes I do know they did some scaling and flying those scalings, but they ARE NOT accurate renditions of the J-20 and do not accurately replicate her capabilities even in scale..

Now can you learn something of course you can, and the RC-Powers J-20 is for real awesome, displaying the J-20s supermaneuverability rather than its speed, and that's where the real kool is! sorry Bub, but scale flying aircraft, all have to have help,,, the larger the size, the easier they fly without Gyro stability enhancement.

What you've described is basically what I meant by the RC Power J-20 model being a "heavily modified" from the real thing.

And it's debatable to say whether the RC J-20 model can be said to be derived from scaling of the real J-20, since the overall shapes of the model, the wings and control surfaces are different from the real thing.

Moreover, the RC Powers model works definitely in very low subsonic speeds, whereas the J-20 is going to deal with supersonic flight. And the RC Powers J-20 has TVC, whereas the actual J-20 has yet to have them installed. LERX on the actual J-20 seem to be missing as well.

That said, the RC Powers model shows how absurdly maneuverable a TVC canard body-lift fighter can be.

and you've summarized Dr. Song's basic philosophy in designing an aircraft to go "head to head" with the F-22, in that only the distant coupled canard/lifting body forward fuselage would enable him to achieve super-maneuverability without the added weight, complexity, and expense of OVT.

hopefully at some point in the future, Chengdu will be able to "un-veil" the wind tunnel and flight test data so that the design genius of this Kool bird!
