LOL I happened to notice this good post:
Yep. Most consider military news a hobby to kill time, not too much different than football, or phones. After all, we are talking about information that is publicly available plus a level of speculation, which makes it interesting.

But we can't deny the nationalism sentiment is strong in China and many countries regarding military. Just take a look at nationalinterests.org you can see the US version of the same thing.
yeah Military servers (when combined with the SDF posting) are great for example when in a mall with my wife and kid, I just sit in for example Starbucks and tell them to pick me up in two or three hours (then I usually tell them to wait like ten minutes before I finish :)

I'm proud to be a "Patriot" brothers, and you should be too,,, but, I don't let my patriotism blind me to the truth??

and I make my best effort to allow other patriots to express their love for their country, without being overly harsh or judgemental... as Deino says, your "danged if you do, and danged if you don't", but in all the truth and logic will prevail, even in the crazy messed up world we now live in...

we all face a certain "existential" threat at present, military strength and the "wisdom of the the Patriarch's",,, give us a certain amount of "hope" for the future, for ourselves, our children, and our "Nation"! nothing wrong with that, and everything right, and in a "Biblical World View", "eternity" is waiting, and a "Righteous Judge", my Hope is ultimately in Him!

in the meantime, the J-20 is a very important airplane for the Chinese People, a "focal point" if you will? and a source of national pride,,, that is just as it should be, a very fine and beautiful airplane, produced by a very fine and beautiful People!

as long as all these "fun toys" are defensive and not offensive in nature and purpose, I'm all for it, they have brought us a certain amount of "stability" in the past and present,,,, as for the future, you and I are building that right now!

Patriotism is a double edge sword. Just like religion is, both are misinterpreted and misunderstood. Human nature is prone to have a sense of belonging and for that reason, religion and patriotism draw crowds. As with anything, the "wrong" kinda people exploit it to further their own agenda.

Patriotism in its truest sense, is suppose to invoke transparency, to instill the protective instincts and to bring people together toward working for a common cause. Religion in essence is suppose to be more than rituals, it is suppose to instill discipline, devotion and spirituality. But as we look around the world today, both have been infiltrated by those who are selfish, greedy, power hungry and corrupt at their core. What many fail to recognize is that power corrupts humans and when it does corrupt, humans seldom turn toward their good nature. This in essence, is where patriotism and religion become tools for those who are corrupt, to exploit to further their agenda.

All powerful civilizations in history have seen their rise and fall due to the corruption of human nature. Unspeakable crimes have been committed by those who have exploited religion and patriotism. Be it the systematic extermination of Native Americans by Pilgrims/Settlers, the "Enterprized Slavery" or Africans by British/Dutch/French/etc, the destruction of the Eastern Orthodox Christians by the Ottoman Turks, the rampant killing of Chinese by Imperial Japan and so on. All were done on the basis of "us against them", or "nationalism", or "religion". What's worse is that human vanity compels some to legitimize their historical crimes. Human vanity blinds us from stopping ourselves from parading around as champions of freedom, when it is the same who made slavery into a commercial enterprise. It is human vanity that corrupts us with hunger for power, greed for wealth and lies to cover up or legitimize our crimes.

So yes, patriotism and religion are good things. What isn't good, what is rotten at its core, is the human element and its vanity.

By the way this must be the most recent new LRIP J-20.
I know there are rumours about #16 and #17 also being seen from the same batch as #15 spotted in June, but as far as I know we've lost the number-count.

All we have confirmed is a yellow bird with a red "15" from June and now this yellow bird - without any number visible - on an image taken in July (could be the same?).

In the lower right, what does the red arrow point to? Is that a JF-17 in yellow primer? It just looks a bit off, but it could be due to the low resolution.

It's just a JF-17. People are unfamiliar with how expansive the LERXs are, so from above it looks surprisingly wide.

The plane at the bottom right corner might be a JF-17.

Yes, likely #15, if there were #16 and #17 on the field we'd likely see pictures showing more airplanes...
