Promotional poster for the upcoming movie 'Sky Hunter'.

Sorry about the large photo, but this is worth it.

Real or CG?

Are you familiar with the film Sky Hunter?

edit:
rhetorical question. the point is that the film is one where the plaaf is contributing many of its own aircraft and hardware for it. J-20 is one of them. This picture is a shot from BTS of the film.

So yeah, it's real.

Tbh not sure why you'd think it's CGI. It's pretty high res and you can zoom in, it's pretty obvious this ain't computer generated.

Two J-20s in the background taking off in close proximity look photo-shopped. You can tell that they are actually just the same plane duplicated.

Look closer at those two J-20s.

Especially at their landing gear and landing gear door positions. Do they look duplicated?

Edit: by the way there is a difference between something like duplicating an aircraft which would generally be called "PS", versus "CGI" which is where the primary subject is computer generated. If you thought this picture was dodgy because you believed the two J-20s in the background were duplicated (they're not), then it would be more accurate to ask if it is a PS rather than CGI...

But the photo does look doctored?? yes, it does, its been manipulated at least a little,,, the two departing aircraft are very close??? but indeed the gear is in transit, and one has the gear almost coming into the wells, while the other has the gear shortly after it has come out of "down and locked".

so its a legitimate question, and it is a movie promo pic?
