This is assuming that Yang has been moved. At this point, we don't even know that. Based on what superdog and Bltizo found about the activities on credible Chinese websites, Yang has not gone anywhere.

Sadly I have no idea, this is the only info I've seen.
Also I'm not familiar enough with Chinese government structure to provide an accurate translation of the job titles.
Guess we'll just have to wait for more news.

The translation for that position is "deputy director of Technology Committee of AVIC". It appears to be a consulting committee rather than a leadership or management position. The director and some other deputy directors of that committee are China's most prominent (semi-)retired aviation experts (ages 70+). Given that Yang is only 53, I'm not sure this will be a suitable position for him. Maybe this will not be his only position, or maybe this piece of info is inaccurate? I don't know.
