What terms did you use?

And yes, that post does a good job of describing why I dislike using the term "EOTS" for J-20's sensor... Just because it is an EOIRST with a faceted cover does not make it "EOTS" which is a specific product and subsystem as part of F-35 :mad: lol

Just can't believe that I got fooled by that old picture again. Should've known better. Seems like Chinese forums are necroing old photos/posts frequently now that the J-20 is nearing service.

Well I'm not sure if the photo you posted is old or new -- it might be new -- but the thing is that even if it were new, the likelihood of it actually being the system installed on J-20 is very very low, given what we know about how the Chinese military controls these sort of things...

The picture is new. It's photoed in the currently ongoing army-2016 exhibition. But that stuff is years old as we already see the chinese version of it a year of two ago. This time they just reprinted it in russian. This system is allowed to show up in a foreign exhibition also completely eliminate the possibility is will be on J-20.
