A nice head-on view. Wide-angle HUD; EOTS is a mockup; also note the likely gun port on the port side shoulder.

Did anyone compare the 2101 canopy with that of 2017? Just wondering which shape they decided to keep for production model.

Well 2101,2102 and 2103 are reported by Hudong as LRIP
But amazing pace on J20 programme

Assuming it is true that 2101, etc are LRIP and IOC in 2017 ... really amazing achievement for China

For comparison

F-22
First Flight 1997 (J-20 in 2011 --- 14 years later)
IOC 2005 (J-20 is expected in 2017 - 12 years later)
Number build 195 (8 test and 187 operational aircraft) -- (J-20 ???, 8 test and ??? operational)
Program cost $66.7B (J-20 ????)
Unit Cost, flyaway $150M (J-20 ???)

I am expecting
* The number build for J-20 is over 250 units
* Program cost 100B Yuan or roughly $15B
* Unit cost, flyaway $100M

The F-22 program didn't benefit from stolen technology through industrial espionage.

Sour grape and unsupported innuendo. I guess you cannot stomach the advances that China has exhibit in recent month. New AOR, J10 with WS10B, Hyperspectral Satellite, CV17.Yup the list goes on and on China is firing on all cylinders now.

Causing the naysayer to lost argument and resorted to innuendo
