Here's my inquiry, as it stuck me just recently of people discussing of China lacking a next generation bomber. If you have trouble visualizing, just imagine a J-20 as large as a B-1 with the back of the cockpit buried into the fuselage like the F-111 or Tu-160

Your description may not be far off from what SAC may debut as a J16 successor, the actual strategic bomber under development at XAC will most likely be a flying wing.

so instead of watching Family Guy, i went and freehand this, tailless delta, removed cockpit, removed canard, slightly larger trapezoid wing to account for area ruling, kinda my recipe for a JH-20

Try and turn the cockpit into Su-34/F-111/B-1 style if you may.

On the side note, I kinda wonder if the DSI will remain the same size

i strongly believe J-20 is built as a single seater, and they made no provision on future modification, not even a twin seater
F-35 shows the US is confident with the man machine interface, that it will allow a single pilot to do what two pilots in twin seaters like F-15s and F-18s do

tandem seats will present more problems, nose redesign, no more single piece cockpit
anyway, here's a sketch on what might be a tandem JH-20, it turned fat, like an F-35

I asked because I can't stand using a mouse to draw, and while touch is nice my phone screen feels too small and limiting XP

oh well, just buy a cheap tablet and get going
but if you are used to touch devices, i'd think it's better to stick with them (buy bigger device, Ipad maybe?), using a tablet will take some time to getting used to
