You can tell it's a PS when you compare the position of the star versus the lighter color edge on the vertical stabilizer to the previously leaked photo. Although like you said, it could be an accurate depiction of the new features.

Nonsense! Its a genuine photo. There is nothing wrong with that photo.

The person posted this has admitted openly that it's a PS.

Aside from the changes that people mentioned already, the tail cones have been lengthened.
I do not think the tail cones have been lengthened. It is just the angle of the two photos.

The one for the 2002 is from an angle that would hide the tail cones. The one for the 2011 is from an angle that reveals them a little more. Look at the relative position of the main landing gear and you will see what I am talking about.

Anyhow, that's how I see those two pics.

I think there are some slight changes to the cones, to me they look a tad longer and reshaped. In fact i think the cones now have dielectric rears. This is a better comparison pic imo:

Well, that is a very good angle on both, but from that picture I would say they are virtually the same length. If there is a difference, it would be measured in a very few inches at most, and very difficult to ascertain at this distance.

But they are shaped differently and so the cones have changed...I just do not believe they are longer.

stabs, canards, wings, how fitting for a bad guy role

This frontal shot of '2011' is likely a video frame. Does anyone have that video? If so, it'd be mighty nice to have it posted here for all to enjoy.

And yes, this is a menacing looking bird, enough to put a lot of folks on notice.

It looks the best from the front, where the eeriely long body doesn't show...

OT - Why do you think we hmm 'invited' a bunch of German rocket scientists and engineers to the US right after WWII ?
there is no doubt they played a critical role in the acceleration and advancement of America's engine and rocket development including the Apollo program.
China needs to go hmm invite scientists form other countries to accelerate things... LOL

The Russians and Ukrainians. :D
