That's actually not 100% confirmed! We have rumours stating the production line has been transferred from CAC to GAIG but we haven't seen any J-10C there yet.
This however - at least IMO - makes only sense if you still have a decent order-backlog either for the PLAAF or export customers and again based on my understanding, the 20 J-10CEs for Pakistan have been delivered, no additional ones (even if rumoured quite often) have been confirmed and NONE of the other potential customers are for sure. Maybe Egypt + an unknown one the most likely ones (I think Orca hinted something like that!) but overall it is very much unknown.

Do you happen to remember when was the last time we saw new J-10Cs inducted by PLAAF? I at least can't recall any for the past few years.

Is the PLAAF still inducting new J-10C fighters into its units or is the J-10 strictly for exports now?

PLAAF won’t be taking new deliveries.

There's been RUMINT that some of the older J-10A airframes are in the process of or will soon be replaced by new J-35A production.

No idea if such gossip is in fact true, and if it is accurate, not sure if the older J-10A airframes in question will be transferred to "second line" or "third line" units of some variety, or retired entirely as they approach ~20 years of service.

I personally find such talk a bit suspicious as it probably makes more sense for the J-35A to replace older examples of the J-11, but what do I know.

Regardless, any idea if such chatter holds water?
