First things first, this is the J-10 thread, why ya here? Move this to J-35 carrier fighter (PLAN) thread at least.

Secondly, J-35 isn't really to match the F-35. It does not need to drop bombs or do EW, the J-16, J-16D, J-15 and J-15D can do that already. In a head-to-head fight, my bets on the J-35, more max payload won't do much if the IWB is that narrow.

Many exhibits at this air show were named with the addition of 'E' directly to indicate that PLA is also using these.
The currently known information shows that the PL12A completed the design finalization in September 2017, with a usage range of 120KM

why the the letter E an indication of being used by the PLA too? IMO it’s exactly the opposite
