The DSI is 200kg lighter than the original inlet. That could cause serious center of balance issues if changed unless WS-10 is that much heavier or they use ballast.Yes.

I would be very curious to see the cockpit. Not liking the odds of that though.Not necessarily -- developing a twin seat J-10S with DSI is not necessarily an easy task, and in theory continued production of existing J-10AS but using WS-10s is not unreasonable if the opportunity cost for developing a more modern version of J-10S doesn't fall in its favour.
