LAVI had swept wings, not delta. Nose cone also look nothing alike.
The planform and Canard placement looks correct, the nose looks at least to me more of the J-10 flat shape, the tails of both aircraft are similar, the oval intake is correct for the 1991 mock up and the engine does look like the WP-15 more then the F100 or F110 in my opinion. I do think the artist used the F-16 somewhat to fill in the gaps but it does look like the early design, which was already replaced by that point.

Yeah on early J-10 model the intake was similar to that of the F-16.
Reportedly this image came from leaked early design data (separate from the 1999 leak) I was curious if anyone knew anything about that incident.

That’s swept. If it is delta the trailing edges will form 90 degree angle with the fuselage.
The delta that isn't 90° with the fuselage is called a compound delta wing, aka cranked arrow, like the one on the F-16XL pictured above.
