Is it equipped with WS-10C?
I thought that the nozzle makes it very obvious?

According to the podcast, Pakistan is impressed by J10c in Shaheen joint air exercise so much so they felt the needs to acquire J10c to counter Indian Rafale ASAP despite JF17 Block 3 is well underway. Along with its ageing F16 fleet, once they ran out of spare parts, Pakistan could turn to full Chinese in the future.I have now heard from both Xi Yazhou (some weeks ago) and (this week, in discussion about the J-10D rumours) that there are discussions floating around of China providing J-10 to the DPRK to modernise their air force.
In context of J-10D Shilao and Ayi's opinion is that:
Yes, with only one engine it's cheaper than J-16, but it's not exactly half the price since it's not like J-16 is loaded with two AESA. PLAAF love J-16 and given choice would just buy more J-16 instead of more J-10.
J-10's small size leaves very little room for further improvements. If it has to be done you'll probably see things like conformal fuel tanks just like on some of the later F-16s.
If indeed there is to be a J-10D then perhaps it would be designed as a last batch of "perfected J-10", half for export to Pakistan/DPRK and half for PLAAF, but it's not very likely.
Fairly credible I should think. Pakistan won't want to rely on US now it is getting into bed with India, whilst France and Russia are already in that bed. That leaves basically non-French Europe and China as top tier fighter producers that Pakistan can possibly buy from, and the former is likely to be fraught with problems (e.g. US/French parts, German reluctance to sell arms, etc.). Other stuff like vehicles, MALE UAVs, small warships, they can diversify more (e.g. Turkey, Brazil).I wonder how credible is that.
1. JF-17 already uses Russian RD-93 engine, so Russia despite being a major supplier to India does not treat India-Pakistan as a zero-sum game.Fairly credible I should think. For China a major sale to a well respected air force like Pakistan would be a major boost for its fighter industry. In the medium term I can see some of the big spenders in the Gulf states buying Chinese fighters (maybe J31E).
