Well the first proof that J10 B has AESA radar

The J-10B (?) Electronically scanned radar can be seen in a television report broadcast tonight on CCTV-7.

This was settled a long time ago: J-10B has PESA, and J-10C has AESA.

And J-10B's PESA:

Here's J-10C's AESA:

Reportedly - via Oedosoldier - this TVC-equipped J-10 is already the J-10D !

It seems very similar to the J-10B; no second antenna on the spine, MAWS at the base of the vertical stabiliser, pitot tube out the nose. However, there is an extra antenna at the top of the vertical stabiliser like the J-10C.

Is this a J-10B prototype airframe that CAC re-purposed as an engine testbed?

The artist released a revised edition with a notch above the engine nozzle so there's clearance for the TVC to manoeuvre. Hints to a fresh airframe if that's the case.

If this J-10 with TVC Engine and Sawtooth Nozzles is J-10D.
Where is the Conformal Tank (CFT), or maybe they will added it later after Engine tests.
Hope we will see CFT in this J-10D

TVC nozzle has been a long time coming...

Joining Carbon Fibre Reinforced Silicon Carbide Composite (C/SiC) and metallic parts:

Former President Jiang Zemin (in office from 1993-2003) being shown a TVC nozzle:

TVC testbed:

Interesting to see they've been relatively consistent with their TVC design since the 90s/00s, employing an outer layer of "bent" actuatable petals to direct an inner layer of exhaust petals. The operating principle appears similar to those of the US and European all-aspect vectoring designs as opposed to the AL-31FP's 2D-vectoring.
