Yes, You can see the 9. Div's badge in the left corner !

My "problem" is, why Scramble.nl and others say the 9. Div is flying J-10 since about one year ... also some J-10 have been seen there long before and now they received officially only their first four machines.

Deino

The article I posted a few weeks ago also indicates they've had J-10s earlier this year. It could be that these 4 machines are last of the bunch?

why does the text say its the 5th line regiment with j10s? All this time weve been told by various sources, including scramble.nl that there are at least 6 confirmed regiments of j10 flying with the plaaf. So this new one should be 7th one, no?

Like TPHuang indicated, the text could be referring to regiments that are COMPLETELY converted to J-10 jets. So 5 completed J-10 regiments, but more are on the line.

this is the 5th regiment with J-10. I think the 6th one is in the 24th division. So, those are the 6. I personally think the 7th one is in 18th division, but we will see :)

If 6 or 7 operational regiments is a matter of how you define "operational" !

IMO we could also include the FTTC and so we get:

1. = FTTC,
2. = 44. Division,
3. = 3. Division,
4. = 2. Division,
5. = 1. Division (even if I havn't seen a confirmed picture yet :()
6. = 24. Division + 1. August demo-team
7. = 9. Division (maybe still in transition)
----
8. = 18. Division (propably)

Does anyone know more about the reports/rumours about a second regiment within the 44. Division ?? I'm not sure - and again need to count - , but I have that strange feeling that there are more machines noticed than a in regular regiment ... IMO this unit serves as a OCU.

Was this my "old" list over there at the FF ???

I agree with You about it ... but for three regiments I don't think so.

basically, this is reported from Tianjin, which is the YangCun base. This is the new regiment of J-10 serving the 70th regiment of 24th division. It is doing its first training of the year in -20 degree celsius weather. It's funny that we've seen so many pictures of this regiment and a couple of pictures of the 26th regiment, but still nothing from the one in the first division.

Seems like the J10 is being rolled off the assembly line fairly quick. How many does that make in total now? (combined with J10S)

decided to re check the data,the magazine claim that J-10 has far better runaway,it give J-10 350 meter,while F-16 ,275 meter, I suspect there got be a error, more likely printing error-275 should be 375 meter.
