Why do you think none of these new-build J-10B's have aerial re-fueling probes?

Even the prototypes have had them.

Will they be added on later?

And it does seem that it has taken Chengdu a long time to get this bird operational.

At least 27 ... and as such more than enough for one operational regiment !

They build at least 28 with that mysterious 201. I wonder what that plane is. Many people say that's the prototype for the new upgraded J-10C but 201 is a serial production number and not that of a prototype.

Is that J-10 a type B or C? I lost track of what versions they're building now.

To admit (IMO) ... these are all simply B-models and the so far only J-10C (no. 201) is something mysterious !

J10C could be a customised model for export, just a guess

IMO (# 201) are for PAF.

We all know 36 is already on order (FC-20), it was for J10As but later it was put on hold because of J10Bs development & Indians acquisition of Rafale.

Further, I am pretty much optimistic that J10B/Cs are in the line of Euro Fighter/Rafale.

I think J-10B/C would be better than most of Euro Fighters or Rafale, perhaps on par from 2012 onward production

it's quite possible. I am under the impression also that FC-20 was delayed because PAF was lacking the funding to purchase it. Either way, it would make sense to make a customized version for PAF based on J-10B.
