I think it's PSed. These came out more than a month ago. Looks better on a Flanker.

I don't think Flankers have such short landing gears! And look at the nozzles, it looks like RC or model to me!

The same guy that did the J-10 probably did these. What makes the Flankers most likely CG is the angles of the pics. Was he in a helicopter? Not likely. It looked cool when they were on Tomcats but Tomcats are not in service anymore. Have F-18s taken on these schemes? Unless they have why would they paint an aggressor squadron up with Tomcat colors? The J-10 is probably photshopped and this Flanker is probably completely CG.

That are Screenshots of a Flight Simulator!
You can see the unreal looking of the runway, the gras and also the trees!

It is no great deal for many guys to repaint the model of an aircraft for some pc based flight simulations...

Simply YES ... most likely - at least IMO - that they will build an initial test-regiment with these pre-prod aircraft until the last fixed were made in preparation to serial manufacturing and in the meantime lot 07 J-10A will be finished.

Interesting to see new J10B under production with J10A running along at the same time

So it means we have the 7th lot of the J10A and also have 2 lots of J10S plus 1st lot of J10B I am counting in excess of 300 aircrafts

I wonder how large the 1st lot of the J10B is, it might be handed over next year as in last 8-9 years they have built around ~30 aircrafts per year so even if the first lot has 30 aircrafts the first regiment can stand up in 2013

If 1 regiment of J10B stands up every year by 2015 we can easily see 3 Regiments of the J10B in service that's 84 aircraft

J10B might continue until J-31 and J-20 production starts so the eventual numbers could be higher

I would say sometime in the future the J10A/B numbers might overtake the Flankers but seeing that J-15, J11B and J-16 production is continuing the Flanker will remain the main fleet in the China aviation for its armed forces

Great way to finish off 2013, happy new year everyone! :D
