That's what I was wondering. US$30-40 million, on the back of a truck? Did they pay any insurances?

Honestly I won't take that "thing" too seriously, IMO it's simply one of the numerous prototypes after their retirement, which were displayed on various places often with replacements parts like engines and weapons.

J-10S prototype with WS-10 is too early for retirement. I bet this jet will still continue to fly with more testing.

IMO this is not a WS-10A but a retired J-10S prototype simply re-equipped with a TH-look-alike to be shown.

Nothing special, just compare the other retired prototypes, they also don't have real TH or AL-powerplants.

How long is the J-10? That container compartment is no longer 40 feet although the aircraft is transported without the nose.

the whole aircraft is there, including the nose, the rest of the parts are in those wooden boxes

don't realize how heavy an airplane actually is, a flying machine is no mean feat
