Unlike the T-birds or Blue Angels does anyone know why the J-10's of PLAAF's demonstration team or even jets from russian demo team doesn't have that glossy look to it? is it by choice or capabilities? I've seen the TB vipers up close and boy do they look polished and shiny! The Chine J10s' paint job by comparison looks really bland and matte.some recent photos of J-10s, one showing 4 from the 24th division and the other 2 are showing the August 1st demonstration team.

Is it because the Vipers have some special paint job or do the maintenance crew basically just spent every second waxing the birds or maybe both?
Especially hilarious since it isn't just blue, it is red, white, and blue.
What a coincidence! I was going through a local toy store for a birthday gift for my nephew a few days ago and spotted this ultra-patriotic star spangled boxed toy! Notice the plane in the top corner there! The F-14, the F-18, F-117, A-10..... and J-10! :china:

I think that's a gripen or Lavi, it looks like it has side intakes common to the former. Bet it's made in china though lol.The canards look a bit big lol. Could the real J-10 carry missiles on the wing tips?
