How many of those did go out of their way to kill "hundreds"(their own words) with bulldozers, though?. And then have a puff sympathy piece written about their "suffering" for having done so, so people feel bad he and his buddies decided to eat a bullet afterward.

Thats outright nazi shit. That's the least they could do, short of being actually tried at a War Crimes court.

Normal person: wow even IDF has humanity, are they changing?

What actually will happen: To reduce incidence of trauma we are justified to use automated gas chamber to reduce PTSD in IDF.

Never sympathize with narcisists.

Nonesense. PTSD is mostly in guilt tripping x high intensity trauma in colonial criminals.

You dont hear PTSD often in just wars. Sometimes my grandpa wake up from nightmares of IJA attacking his villages, but he never go crazy. He wake up feeling relieved he did the right thing, and that is the end of that. He would never question his morals and go paranoid. The war left a scar in him, but it never bleeds like PTSD.

Meanwhile look at Iraq wars. By all intent and purpose it is ultra low intensity, mostly just patrolling a country under control. But the amount of PTSD symptoms are disproportionallu high, higher than high intensity combat. Because they know they are the bad guys deep down.

Offtopic: you are probably safer serving in Iraq than being a cop/fireman in bad US neighborhood.

Imagine the PTSD when all this said and done. I mean in the event that the USA loses its hegemony status (inevitable given its current geopolitical standing and ultra high debt) and Israel inevitably gets blasted on all sides sooner or later, and when these IDF soldiers had to relocate to whatever country accepts them after that, they will be berated for the rest of their lives and spit on for their atrocities and their conscious will catch up with them to pretty much calls them out as man/woman killing, baby murdering scum for the rest of their lives. Eventually, they will breakdown permanently and cease to function because by then, not many societies would accept such people that easily to put it extremely mildly .
