Can anyone answer why Israel’s rivals tend to prefer low-to-medium intensity longer-range conflict?

Israel seems to excel at that. Its assassinations, bombings, and missile defence are top notch.

On the other hand, in higher intensity Ukraine-style war, numbers matter far more, and in that respect Israel is outmatched more than ten to one.

From Ukraine, we’ve seen that airforces can be fairly effectively suppressed with air defence.

Wouldn’t it be better for Israel’s rivals to escalate to a full land war?
Israel's enemies (Hamas & Hezbolah) are already engaged in a full land war. What prevents Iran from going all in is they don't have nukes while Israel does have them. everyone in the region is scared shitless of Israel's nukes.
Been there done that. Ever heard of the Yom-Kippur War?
The Arab armies led by Egypt and Syria failed at it. And today's Egyptian and Syrian armies are much worse equipped than they were back then. They had huge support by the Soviet Union.
Egypt's Sisi is a servant of Israel and America. he will not go to war with his masters. heck forget about war Egypt still refuses to downgrade it's economic relations with Israel. on the contrary since the war started Egypt has been busy strengthening it's economic relations with Israel, same thing goes for Jordan.

Syria can't do anything either, the SAA if I'm not mistaken has about 150k soldiers. on the other hand the Kurds in Syria have about 30k militants. and the Turkey backed terrorists have 50k militants in the north. if Syria goes to war with Israel all these groups will take advantage of the situation and will destroy the SAA. actually just a few weeks ago pro oppostion/terrorist media has been hyping up the possibility of a grand battle to regain Aleppo and the terrorists were saying they have made the preparations for it.

the gulf states (particularly KSA & UAE) are staunch allies of Israel. don't believe the talk of the Saudis when they say they will not normalize relations with Israel unless a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders is established. I am confident if Israel wins this war the moment Hamas is finished the KSA will normalize relations with Israel. Saudi state-controlled media has been busy slandering Hamas and the Palestinian armed struggle for statehood in general (not just Hamas) and everytime a Hamas leader or figure is killed Saudi media basically dances on their graves. Saudi media is more Zionist than Israeli media. the Saudis are talking out of both sides of their mouth. officialy they say they support having a Palestinian state but unofficialy their media has been busy trying to convince the people to hate Palestinians in general.

Been a bloody 24 hours for the IOF. 10 killed in fighting in south Lebanon with lots of wounded, and 3 killed in Gaza. This was the nightmare scenario that many ex Israeli generals and intelligence officials were warning about fighting this multi front war. The IOF is overstretched and exhausted. Morale is low, reservist are refusing to report to duty. Some lie and say they can’t fight and are sent to the rear for non combat duty. It’s clear the ground forces are way over their head. And they haven’t even advanced that far deep into Lebanon yet. Coming under continual Burkan rocket and atgm fire is demoralizing.

Almost the same as what happened to US volunteers who thought they had combat experience from Afghanistan went to Ukraine. Real combat involves opponents that can fight back, especially with artillery, and that's a huge shock for would-be warriors who's only used to committing violence as part of a colonial police force against largely unarmed civilians.
