It was a saturation attack. Nonetheless, it was clearly visible in the videos that dozens of missiles were intercepted: I saw at least one exo-atmospheric kill.

Of all missiles, ballistic are the easiest to estimate where they are heading. They follow a ballistic arc, and the type Iran launched is easy to track in its boost phase.

Iran gave no such warning to airlines. A guy on a flight from Dubai posted a video of missiles flying eerily nearby their plane. It’s a testament to how advanced American-Israeli technology and training are that no airliners were harmed, despite hundreds of missiles in the air.
Rofl.

An airliner is a mobile, 3D target. To be hit with a missile that has no ranging or bearing guidance, only 2D coordinate guidance in the terminal phase, is one of supremely bad luck.

The interception rate seems to be way lower than it was last time Iran did an attack. Like 10% at best.

Depends on which missiles you are talking about. For example this is the Fattah missile the Iranians have.

It has enough range to hit Israel from Iran.

The last stage seems to be powered with a liquid rocket engine and is manueverable.

Was about to post this. This is footage of Palestinians in the West Bank parading a spent stage. It looks like a Fattah-1, with elongated fins extending past the base.

Edit: A much clearer picture of a spent stage:

They wouldn't have to defend their pets if they would be able control their pets in the first place.

If the US wants to stop Israel they can do so whenever they please. Israel is critically dependent on the US to keep their armed forces supplied with ammunition and spare parts.

Obviously I was talking about SAMs. Not so long ago, Iran shot down an airliner in anticipation of a retaliatory attack that never took place.

The big question is how many of these Iran have in their arsenal. If they can repeat multiple times or need to wait years for production to catch up.

With that amount of missiles flying , missiles defenses systems are saturated and it would be interesting to know how many interceptors got launched from Israel and the US fleet.

Probably a lot more. there's a reason why the US haven't invaded Iran yet despite being the biggest threat to US hegemony in the middle east

Of the 200 missiles Iran launched, I saw about 25-30 impacts in the videos. A similar number of endo-atmospheric intercepts. The exo-atmospheric intercepts are harder to spot, but I did see one. Possibly SM-3 again. Furthermore, these intercepts would likely have taken place outside Israel’s borders. What we see in the videos are missiles that got through the first layer of defense.
