So as expected it wasn't about targeting just Hezbollah but just inflicting terror.
I believe the main target is Hezbollah. But we know very well that there is no collateral damage when it comes to the IDF. If they have to injure 1,000 civilians to kill 10 Hezbollah fighters, they will do it. I have just received information that the Chinese battery manufacturer Sunwoda Electronic Company Limited intends to sue the Mossad for $1 billion over the explosions of communication devices in Lebanon. Furthermore, even doorbells in residential buildings are exploding in Lebanon.

Got to give the Israelis credit. This was a brilliant military operation. And it looks like the precursor of wider military operations. This is a blow to the west because now many middle eastern nations will now import electronic parts from China. This operation seems to try spread panic and confusion within Hezbollah ranks. I doubt it will do much to hamper Hezbollah the slightest. If Israel is really suicidal and wage total war against Hezbollah it’s going to backfire really bad.

So rumors say Israel was supposed to activate these electronic bombs when they invaded (this fall) causing chaos on the battlefield and HQ pretty much taking out a chunk of hezbollahs communications. Looks like Israel is going to invade in the coming days/weeks and I think hezbollah will still be in chaos not only because of electronic sabotage but since Oct 7th Israel has killed 450+ hezbollah operatives many very high ranking like the #2 of hezbollah and two IRGC Generals and now add the thousands who will likely not be in the fight due to injury received by the electronic attacks hezbollah right now is a disorganized fighting force.

It appears that even solar panels, vital to Lebanon's energy system, have also exploded in several homes in southern Lebanon. It seems like every battery-powered device could be compromised.
I have not seen any reports that say solar panels exploded, care to share the source?

so far the only thing that exploded in the second wave are the walkie talkies. Hezbolah bought these explosive walkie talkies around the same time they bought the explosive pagers 5 months ago.

"A security source said Hezbollah bought the walkie-talkies five months ago at around the same time the group bought the pagers."

at this point I think Hezbolah is being lead by mentally challenged people, I mean you would think after the first wave of explosions these people would finaly get it through that thick skull of theirs that their supply chain has been compromised and that they need to dispose (at least temporarily) of any device that they recieved 5 months ago and send it to whatever experts they have access to to pick apart these devices and check whether they have been compromised or not.

honestly I cannot blame Israel for doing this. while it's true that Israel mainly targets civilians in it's wars however this particular attack was not a terrorist attack. this was a briliant & successful military operation, the vast majority of the injured are Hezbolah fighters not civilians.

looking at the explosions it is clear this was not just some battery overheating, these devices had explosives in them.

now let us see... if a third wave of explosions happens and we find out that the explosive devices were bought by Hezbolah 5 months ago which Hezbolah forgot to get rid off after these two waves of explosions then I think at that point Hezbolah would deserve to win the Darwin award.

I remain convinced that there's a inside mole in Hezbollah procurement. The AR924 did not come into existence until sometime in 2022, whoever was responsible for procurement chose this one, new product over other proven models? Then also brought a batch of ICOMs that were rigged as well?

Are they? How do you know? What about civilian Hezbollah members who are not fighters? More importantly, this attack "feels" like terrorism, much more than an airstrike on an apartment building. Clearly it's not just Hezbollah owned devices that exploded

the type of weapon used does not determine at all whether the attack is a terrorist attack or not. the only thing that matters is whether it was used to specifically target civilians or not. whether it's a knife or a car bomb or a strike aircraft the purpose of a weapon is to kill. the way you said it it almost sounds like you are saying that airstrikes are just bit cleaner and more moral way to kill than walkie talkies.

Clearly it's not just Hezbollah owned devices that exploded

the only devices that exploded so far were the walki talkies and the pagers bought by Hezbolah. if you have any different information then feel free to share the source with us.

A least they will reduce the numbers of intermediary Western companies in their supply chain.
