You're the one who brought up environmental risks/issues in this thread. Furthermore, you did so only to criticize Houthi/Yemeni reactions to Israel's current campaign of genocide/ethnic cleansing. If you wish to continue the discussion, keep it here. We can then juxtapose whatever armchair criticisms you have of the Palestinians, Houthis/Yemenis, Iranians, etc. against the real-life actions of the U.S., Israel, etc.

Sure. You can talk about US wrongs in Vietnam and Iraq as if these are not talked to death already on this forum. I’ll talk about the Houthis, Israel and Iran.

Anywho, thought the potential tanker spill is relevant. Half a million Yemenis make a living in the fishing industry.

Idk, maybe the Houthis care more about scoring points against US/Israel and now Greek owned tankers than their own countrymen.

Someone made a comparisson of what a CSG consisted of in the 90's early 00's and todays composition, that I can't seem to find now, and you can see the loss of capabilities brought about by the loss of the Ticos, OHP and Spruances without any replacements.

From around 6 to 8 ships, down to to 3 DDG-51 at most.
That’s why they are being called Carrier Strike Groups instead of Carrier Battle Groups.

That’s a good point. Do you think the Houthis are imitating the Americans? If America is allowed to do dumb shit. Why can’t we.

I dont think they need heavy escort against asymetrical enemies anyways. So not really lost capability. If you see them do the same in South China Sea, then you know.

A report on Hezbollah strikes against Israeli bases. I'm not sure what to make of it since there is no video evidence due to the Israeli media ban.
