. I don’t think war is coming this summer. It would be suicidal for Israel to fight two front wars at this time. It would collapse their economy. And with campaign season coming ahead in the summer for the US elections Biden is not going to sign on a regional war with massive economic ramifications. Many Israeli ex generals are saying it’s a bad idea to fight both Hamas and Hezbollah at the same time.
The latest back and forth escalation between Hezbollah and IDF this past week might signal that the IDF might not have much of a choice in the matter.

battery, the Israeli side might just have to bite the bullet and engage in some limited operation just to save face. It'll be disastrous and they'll risk getting dragged into something they can't contain, but its either that or a complete collapse of settler faith in the North - which is already in a very tense situation.

US is too far in to say no. At this point, all they can do is advise Israel not to open another front. The ball is in Israel's court; should they decide to do it, US will follow even if it doesn't want to, even if it requires shooting it's own citizens. US lost grip of Israel long ago; the roles are completely reversed. USA will overtax it's own citizens and accumulate more debt on itself to mitigate any military or economic losses suffered by Israel.

A face completely covered in shit can no longer be saved. What Israel decides to do from here on will be entirely for it's strategic purposes, not image. The image is wrecked beyond belief. Irreversible damage.

These guys are running circles around the "Israeli Diaper Force". The Israeli diaper force is exceptionally good at killing unarmed teenage girls, boys and old people but when it comes to fighting man to man they look like complete amateur's.

The idea of Iron Dome being invincible is a part of Israel's informational war, acting as a deterrence. Any damage to a godly weapon platform would be denied. How did they allow such a clear pic to be released? Even if it is a dummy....
I mean anyone can see those aren't particularly cutting edge air defense systems, their only perk is that they're cheap (for an American system), which basically means they come at Russian price but they're limited in capability compared to what the same price buys you in Russian weapons.

They are invincible the same way Russia's Su-35 are invincible in Syria. When you're fighting the national (or non state actor) equivalent of 6 year olds, a knuckle duster too is an invincible weapon.
