Interesting part of this article is the idea that in a full scale war against Hezbollah is the idea of other Shia militias joining the war. And this has been a major fear amongst the Israeli military/intelligence establishments. I remember reading about this scenario back in 2009 on DebkaFile which was basically an Israeli far right newsletter which at the time was seen as the true thoughts of the Israeli intelligence apparatus. This was before the Syrian Civil war. Basically there was this fear that tunnels from Iraq and Syria reach the tunnels in Lebanon to reinforce Hezbollah in a war scenario. This explains why the west went so hard to overthrow Assad.
They wanted to cut that life line to South Lebanon. It failed and only gave these Shia foreign fighters from Lebanon,Iraq,Iran,Pakistan and Afghanistan battlefield experience. And these militias went to Syria to protect the holy sites and many never left. Some stayed and used their battlefield experience to train recruits. And Iran quietly has been building up sort of a Shia international army with the goal to open another front in the event of war with Israel. Possibly a major push into the Golan Heights. If Hezbollah launches a counterattack to the Sheba Farms after mauling Israel in the battlefield the Golan Heights will have to be taken from Israel. It’s the highest point in the region. And with the amount of fire power the resistance has they could literal carpet bomb the Israeli military bases in the Golan. Or worse use tunnels that will make Al Aqsa flood look like a minor defeat.
And this may explain Israel’s hesitation because it has no idea what the other side has planned while everyone knows how Israel pathetically fights. There is literally hundred of thousands of fighters that can be called upon. Israel could face the prospect of its critical infrastructure destroyed, its military facing major humiliation, and likely losing the Golan Heights and Sheba farms. I remember seeing an Israeli analyst say if Israel is getting hammered by Hezbollah and the other axis of resistance groups they may tell Washington that they intervene if not they’ll use nukes against Iran. So we are entering a very grave situation. Things could really spiral out of control.
The last video I put of the ambush, the commentator said the exact same and showed a clip of the IDF soldier looking into a resistance hidden camera while running away.
An armored decoy? This type of damage only happens on armored equipment. Unarmored, this equipment would be in pieces.
Notice how nearly all Hezbollah missile strikes are from a very low altitude near the ground and counter fire / interceptors are never visible which means Iron Dome (and other IDF interceptors) obviously cannot intercept low-flying objects.
Even easier to post old videos and claim it's fine. In fact, that is even more suspect than not responding at all. USN should post a new video of the carrier from every angle showing no damage. Otherwise their claims will remain just claims, just like the claims of the most moral army in the world.

So the US would now openly be an belligerent in this war of aggression (Or colonial penal expedition if you believe Palestine is a junior of Israel), while committing war crimes by using disguise? And indiscriminately killing civilians?
They can't possibly think the propaganda value of 4 hostages is high enough to make it worth it? If anything the entire Western narrative is fully dependant on pretending that the US is not a belligerent, but rather "the good cop" (Which is obvious bullshit, but plausible deniability is enough for their propagandists.).

I don't think this is about any particular propaganda win, perhaps maybe to quell some internal disputes in the Israeli coalition we're not privy on, I believe this is US and Israel going on a show of force to retaliate against Israel being placed on the UN child killer list or whatever its called. Quite the statement.
Also, if the bit about Trojaning as humanitarian aid is true (which I have no reason to doubt, Israelis did dress up as doctors and cripples to raid a hospital few months ago), they've just put a big crosshair on the backs of every humanitarian worker worldwide.
IDF has been using aid trucks as Trojan Horses since almost the start of the war.
