Because Israel has nuclear weapons, it isn't realistic for Israel to be wiped out.

But it is possible for Israel to become a small, isolated and impoverished state under siege - if Israel continues being a nasty colonial state in Gaza and the West Bank.

In retrospect, we can see that the refounding of Israel in 1947 was a huge historical mistake. Israel was supposed to be a homeland safe for the Jews. But Israel could only come into existence through war and by taking the land and homes of the existing Palestinian inhabitants, many of whom are still living in refugee camps in Gaza and the West Bank. So Israel is surrounded by unfriendly or hostile borders.

If Israel acted more rationally, they would understand that true security doesn't come from having the largest military and beating on your neighbours. It comes from having good relations with your neighbours. Particularly since the long-term trends are against an Israel which relies on the US.

But for that to happen, I see a minimum requirement for Israel to end the military occupation of Gaza and the West Bank, and also the removal of 500,000 Jewish colonists from the West Bank.

Perhaps they need to relook at this offer which I think it still stands. They are good businessmen and having a homeland next to a 20 trillion dollar economy would be more secure and profitable than sharing a border with the basket cases that are Lebanon and Egypt . oblast.png

I think you are a little pessimistic, probably because you maybe watched western articles, we should get the real figures, this is not possible that 110 BMs were launched and that 99% was intercepted.

Iran showed it had no fear to strike inside Israel, and everything so far have hit their intended targets.

3 days is very short for assessing something serious, for now what we see on the Israel side, is that they change the story each day that passes.

They came from no damage and all intercepted to "significant damage" according to them.

An error IRGC done was to immediately block the path for anyone to say X number of missile were launched.

Israel wasn't at all expecting that kind of response, they gravely miscalculated and Iran shown it, that if Israel attacks Iran, it will respond with way harsher and disproportionate manner.

Israel will not attack inside Iran and get away with it on premise of "de escalating".

This is a clear success for Iran showing the resistance that is active and ready to inflict real damage to Israel if it wants to.

What Iran should do is to IMMEDIATELY assess how many projectiles and of which type they fired, with a basic press film of the launches
only.

- How many was fired
- What was fired

This would immediately close the door to potential Pentagon/Israeli propaganda.
