Didn't see it mentioned earlier. Apparently the SM-3 was used for the first time in combat to intercept Iranian ballistic missiles.

I don't think Israel is willing to accept the idea that it's historic false mask of invincibility and being untouchable has been exposed and degraded. This used to be of massive benefit to Israel, helping it with genocide and criminal violations of all types in the region. Degradation of this facade literally emboldens all of it's enemies and potential enemies.

For the first time, Israeli citizens have felt actual fear in the safety of their homes throughout the country. The idea that we can no longer do as we please without consequence has rattled the psyche of this snake which ultimately puts a limit to Israel's normal modes of operation. This, the apartheid, cannot allow because it is a settler-colonial and expansionist state with conquest motives reaching far beyond it's current border.

Therefore, I believe, Israel will launch an operation soon to alleviate the consequences dealt by this Persian dagger in an attempt to reestablish the former status quo.

So ruling out next level crazy stunts from the Israelis like sending their F35s to Iran without sufficient fuel to RTB and giving the Americans an ultimatum of ‘refuel our jets or we ditch them in Syria for the Russians to pick up’, Israel’s retaliation options are actually very limited against Iran home soil.
Israel does have tankers of it's own. 5000-9000km ranged. Technically, they could do the deed themselves from over Iraq.
Exoatmospheric interception of a ballistic missile by Arrow 3

How can you even tell from this footage that this is an actual interception and not a faulty, self-destruct? I cannot even see the target missile.

That bubble is burst, and it is no longer relevant whether they revert the strike.

Most likely Israeli responses:
  • Massive nationwide cyberattack on Iranian oil terminals, gas stations, power network, critical infrastructure
  • Symbolic strike on something in Tehran
  • IRGC bases (ex Parchin Military Industrial Complex)
  • Nuclear program supply chain targets (ie centrifuge manufacturing facilities)

Following are the AD systems Iran has:

Similar to Arrow/THAAD -
  • Arman ABM (not fully operational)
  • a BM size interceptor that was seen years ago and theorized to be an Anti-Sat/AWAC/ABM interceptor, I forgot what it was called I think it had the word “hoda” in it.

Similar to David Sling/Patriot -
  • Bavar 373
  • 3vome Khordad,
  • Mehran,
  • 15 Khordad,
  • Tatical Sayyad
  • Talash

Similar to TOR-M1/M2/M3 -
  • Zoubin
