I think Israel need at least 100,000 US troops and various naval and air assets supporting them, preferably redeployed from the Asia-Pacific region.

Israeli Army Radio: Israel agreed to Washington's request to postpone ground entry into Gaza until additional American forces arrive in Middle East

Well, this seems to back the idea that the IDF has actually been weakened and has actually lost a lot of its deterrent edge. And they probably expect to take heavy losses in Gaza.

Seems Israel decided to pull a "Iraq has WMD's" from the US manuals and started to accuse Hamas of planning a chemical attack. The evidence?. A "document retrieved from the body of a Hamas fighter" that has both the ISIS flag and "Al-Qaeda" en plain english written on it.

Is delaying the ground offensive really a concession from Israel?
If they get enough munitions to keep the bombing going it should be beneficial to raze Gaza for as long as possible - before walking in.

Sure, mobilization hurts the economy, but they will be financially compensated by the US. And losing many thousand soldiers could hurt more in the long run.

That's what Hamas want Israel to do, Just like in Stalingrad, negating their advantage, a perfect kill zone as it will required the IDF to clear every rubble, a daunting task that may required heavy casualties on Israel part.

Is rubble really that defensible?
The big benefit of intact buildings is that the defenders can move within the entire building without being spotted and choose whatever windows they want to take up position in, giving them a protected and elevated vantage point. And they can also keep track of which buildings are still in the defenders control, making informed and coordinated decisions when to retreat to the next defensive line.

If there's rubble they will likely have to move from position to position in the open, with the attacker gaining a lot more cover when advancing. And it will be hard to maintain communications, while the line of engagement becomes very blurred.
I'd expect many defenders to sit tight with their squad until they feel isolated and then surrender.

Russians fired more munitions at major Ukrainian cities than Israel is doing at Palestine. Hard to say if it is true for all cases, but it didn't seem to help a lot in overcoming fortifications.

If they have networks similar to the ones in Soledar, there are tunnel mazes below the buildings, they're not using the buildings themselves as fortification points, only entry/exit for counterassault units.

The comms of Hamas seem to be secured simply by using non-US back doored items. So barring the use of human infiltration, leaks seem unlikely, further proved by how we got into this situation to begin with.

Anyone know what message Blinken is speaking about in relation to Iran? Talking about deterring Iran directly along with words about a third front sounds like the usage of military force against Iran. Last I heard, Mccaul was drafting legislation that allows Biden to attack Iran, Lebanon, and Iranian proxies.

Really? Why posting such garbage, in Russua Medwedew is also constantly threatening to wipe out Berlin, London, Paris … we shouldn’t read too much into some hawk‘s words.

But isn't there a difference?

One is actually in office (Blinken) while the other person isn't (Medvedev made the threats after? Remember that being the case as articles usually say 'former xx' Medvedev)?

Why mentioning Blinken or since when did Blinken say this? The report above noted, Israel's Minister of Economy Nir Barkat said this.

Derp, me having a brain fart thinking it was Blinken.

But yea, less relevant when it's Israel's minister of economy (although still active government position, but not in a 'relevant' position to make threats, like say in defense or higher up).
