AP accidentally letting the ethnic cleansing plan out the bag forcing editors to scrub the article of that section. Absolutely ridiculous that anyone believes the “we didn’t bomb the hospital” when they keep changing their story every time it gets debunked.

Really turning into the Axis are they? But you know what happened to Axis by the end? :p

The Arleigh Burke class can quad-pack the ESSM. It is kind of ridiculous to use an SM-2 on a drone.

Hezbolah will 100% be involved not because they are knights in shiny armor, but because their survival is at stake. Iran will therefore be involved because they need their proxy alive. Syria has territorial dispute. They are not interested starting a tough fight, but will definitely join if everyone else is in. Egypt has strong desire to prevent Gaza genocide. If they don't Paletinian radicals will come as refugee destabilize their regime, and the country is full radicals ready to agitate. It is life or death for them. That is why all this time they helped Israel to monitor Gaza, they are not saints. Same goes for Jordan. Jordan is actually friendly to Israel, but that does not mean it can afford west bank Palestinian refugee come in. It is again, destabilize its regime and life or death. I could go on and on.

You realize there is a lot in play here. These all have pragmatic reasons to go stop Israel, and Israel just showed a moment of weakness. This is why it is so important for US to send in the carrier. Israel cannot afford to show weakness. All these country, sometimes friendly to Israel, really really dont want Gaza to blow up, for its own sake.
Bro, Sisi will never goto war with Israel. Sisi is to Biden like Biden is to Netanyahu 'saryessar full support sar, how high sar!'

There is only logical reason for Hezbollah to engage because tomorrow they'll have to face Israel alone, rather do it now. I won't be surprised that towards concluding parts of Gaza operation, Israel tries super hard to bait Hezbollah.

Syria has nothing to fight with, same for Jordan. Pushing Jordan too hard can result in civil war.

Infantry with rifles will be simply mauled down.

And that's pretty much it.

Egypt basically cancelled their Su-35 purchase and obeyed the US's extraterritorial CAATSA. They chose their side.
This after the US supported the Qatar funded takeover of Egypt's government by the Muslim Brotherhood. Which had to be couped by the current Sisi government. You would expect they would have learned not to rely on the US by this point.

Is it really official that they cancelled the Su-35s? The ones produced were not delivered to them but there is still some rumours going on about them just delaying it for the time being. But I do agree that Egypt will not get into this battle, they like to remain in the good books of US but at the same time please Russia and China.

We don’t know the details of the engagement. Some on USNI claim it was a crossing engagement, which would imply that USS Carney was prepositioned in anticipation of a potential retaliation against Israel with Iran supplied long range cruise missiles.

We also don’t know the type of SM-2 used. The SM-2 Block IV variant has a reach of 370km, well beyond the range of ESSM.

This destroyer is BMD capable, so it’s also packing SM-3s.

Given the number of targets engaged, this would make it perhaps the biggest US Navy surface to air engagement since WW2.

Pretty much as it stands Gaza will be annexed and Palestinians will either be killed or exported to EU and Turkey as refugees Arabs don't approach their problem the way Asians do you need to prepare sufficient hard power before any negotiations or conflict starts and keep your mouth shut about it there is a reason no one talk about North Korea anymore after they demonstrated their ICBM that can hit Washington along with Thermo nuclear warhead, Arabs are too arrogant and egotistical
